I'm a 45 year old, overweight TA with arthritis in both knees and left hand. My husband bought me a MTB 3 years ago to see if it'd help to get me mobile again. Little did he realise the monster that would slowly appear from this innocent act.

I smiled my way around the Wiggle Royal Flyer on Sunday 29th October. Sadly I wasn't smiling at the end of the day. My chain broke on the last mile (I did get a push though) and my body was broken by the evening. Thankfully all is well now, I do still need to affix my chain though :-)

Well done with your blog and don't be hard on yourself as we all err from time to time. Its getting back up and getting on with it again. Arthritis is a painful illness and you are right to exercise when ever you can. Keep it up :-D
